The 157 hectare property De Draay 563/13 commands sweeping ocean and mountain views. It descends a short distance from a limestone outcrop through natural vegetation to the shores of a wetland and across to the coastal dunes overlooking the ocean. It is situated just a few minutes’ drive from the small coastal town of Kleinmond within the Overstrand municipality.

a sense of nostalgia

Generations of the Kilpin & Molteno families have enjoyed the wildness of the ‘Melkbos’ as it is affectionately known, camping out under the protected Milkwood trees. The cry of the African Fish-eagle and the sight of the famed wild horses have always been two of the great experiences here.
